Walt Disney World is widely known for being a magical place that kids and adults of all ages enjoy. With action-packed rides, thrilling roller coasters, and exciting live shows, it’s no wonder Disney World is a top vacation destination in the world. Epcot is divided into two main parts: Future World and World Showcase. It became known as the permanent world’s fair and today, it is one of the most visited theme parks in the world. Complete with movies, boat rides, and shows, Epcot has something for everyone. Each evening, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is presented with fireworks, lasers, and dancing fountains. Two annual special events are the International Food and Wine Festival in the fall and International Flower and Garden Festival during the spring.

Magic Kingdom, Disney’s most popular park, is home to Cinderella’s Castle and It’s a Small World, classic attractions enjoyed by millions each year. This is a six themed area dedicated to fairy tales and Disney characters. Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride and Splash Mountain are popular attractions among many more fantasy rides and roller coasters.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom park is the second largest theme park in the world. The park is great for animal lovers as it combines a zoo atmosphere with fun rides and live entertainment. Up-close encounters with exotic animals are of great appeal as the park is home to over 1,700 animals across 250 species. Animal Kingdom is divided into six themed areas, including Africa with Kilimanjaro Safaris and even a dinosaur attraction at DinoLand U.S.A.

Hollywood Studios takes guests inside the world of show business and stunt shows with thrill rides and exciting attractions. The park was designed to resemble a real motion picture studio with the streets and buildings throughout each area all blending together. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a famous drop tower thrill ride complete with a haunted elevator, flickering lights, and a secret passage.

Disney also has two water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Typhoon Lagoon is a tropical water park where guests can snorkel with sharks, stingrays, and tropical fish. There are water slides, a lazy river, and a giant wave pool. Blizzard Beach was inspired by the Disney legend of a ski resort created during a Florida snow storm that has since become a water park. Everything is oriented in terms of slopes, complete with a chair lift and ski patrol. There are raft rides, toboggan slides, a wave pool, and intense water slides.
